How many of your guys are actually passionate about your career?

I’m not sure if it’s my career, but Im 21 and own a house painting business. I also clean gutters, roofs, and mow lawns and pressure wash. I absolutely love it with a burning passion and love it when I learn and excel. Every single job I do I notice my work gets faster, more efficient, and looks better then the last job. I love being able to meet new people constantly and making great friends, especially interior work as I can see their entire personality by looking inside their house and spark conversations via similar interest.

I never realized how sociable I can be and how managing a business can make me charismatic. I’m clean shaven, no tats, no drugs or alcohol (I advertise myself as that) and people tell me they just trust me before they’ve even really seen my work.

I love having my own stuff to own, the hustle, the grind, the constant go. I paid off a brand new 2020 Tacoma with canopy ladder rack, got all my equipment, two airless, pressure wash, ladders, so much more, etc it makes me so happy. I’ve got two IRA, a life insurance policy, and want to buy and flip homes. At least own one outright.

I work in Seattle, painted someone’s house so I got a year of free rent. I can make 70k after taxes (tax write offs) up there and buy a home or two in my home town for 100k. The only downside to what I do is I have legitimately no time for relationships.
