This is rude, I didn’t even mention that in this post so the way you’re framing this is misleading and I don’t have the assumptions you think. I applied to a few schools in the T6 very late and only applied to the T6 bcz I knew it was late and I was just shooting my shot. I got waitlisted as expected. I expect to be able to blanket the entire T14 next cycle with a 173+ and near 4.0 GPA and very strong softs and can expect a T14 acceptance. I think it is reasonable to consider big law if you expect to attend the T14. And I asked this question bcz im not sure it’s worth it even with big law bcz im in a comfortable career with a comfortable salary so I’m leaning against retaking and re applying.
