Probably because they are more likely to live in more dangerous neighborhoods or just the general inner city culture that doesn’t value education. Why do white kids still do well when put into predominantly black schools? Culture.

Not saying anything bad against black people. But most kids in my school fucked around during school, didn’t want to accept challenges (like AP courses) and didn’t try hard enough to go to college; yet they complain all day on Facebook about reasons why they’re poor (spoiler alert: they don’t take responsibility for their actions).

But you can blame it on racism all you want, have it be the scapegoat; I don’t know how that solves any of their problems. It just gives people an excuse to not succeed.
