How to give my room a more industrial feel?

at work right now and don't have pics on my phone, but I recently tried to "industrialize" my apt a bit.

i made a long table for my tv and computer screen with these and a blue paint sorta like this color with a quick and dirty single coat. It left it a little grungy looking, weathered if you will. Definitely fit my look.

I'm a book guy, and I have a ton of books. I bought this guy which not only fit the industrial look nicely, but it's super functional since these shelves are rated for like 800lbs each or something. It was also really easy to assemble, which I was doing with just a hammer at 2 in the morning after a night of drinking. ahahaha! im so manly.

anyway, my father for christmas got me a clock similar to this but it's rusty and doesn't have the words on it. it really ties things nicely together. I'll ask him where he bought the clock in case you dudes are interested.

To me, the "industrial" look kinda goes hand in hand with "rustic" as well. I don't even really know what these words truly mean, and we all probably interpret them differently. But with that in mind I also bought this blanket that hangs on the edge of my couch. It's a solid enough blanket, the lady friend uses it as her go to.

Toss some of these "modern man" pillows on the couch and you're on your way.

I also just started getting rid of my stuff though, in an effort to become more minimalist. I am super interested in ways people keep an industrial vibe while having very, very little.
