You know how they say that no one remembers your embarrassing moments but you? Well, what are some other people's embarrassing moments that you actually do still remember?

Ohhh I feel so bad for remembering this. There was a kid at my school who was sort of famous for being off-putting or brutally anti-social. I was a fucking weirdo myself, don't get me wrong, but this person really excelled at it. They were totally, totally nice, just clearly not down with the ways of "normal" high school humans. (I'm trying to make this as vague as possible in case they/someone I know uses reddit.)

We were in our main hall for a school assembly and one of the band/orchestra groups was giving a concert. About halfway through this kid stopped playing their instrument and started trying to get the teacher's attention. The teacher was conducting and was oblivious, but the kid was persistent--for about 30 straight seconds they repeated the teacher's name non-stop.

The teacher never caught on, and I don't know why this kid didn't just leave or walk out or ANYTHING, but now the whole auditorium's eyes were on this kid and a silence had fallen despite the music playing. And into this silence, this poor kid leans over and projectile vomits a stream of neon-orange puke.

And I feel so bad for them because I really wish I could say everyone had forgotten and that that kind of thing happens all the time, and it must have been SO embarrassing, but I will remember it until I die.
