How often do you guys get high?

Supplements (L-Theanine, L-Tryptophan, Yohimbine, Synephrine, Caffeine, Nicotine) -

  • L-theanine - Almost everyday as a way to to reduce the negative effects of stimulants or for relaxation.
  • L-tryptophan - Almost everyday for restful sleep.
  • Yohimbine - Three times a day for it's a day for metabolic benefits and slight stimulation.
  • Synephrine - Once a day, before exercise, as a preworkout supplement used for slight stimulation and mood boost.
  • Caffeine - Sporadically. I use caffeine as a feel necessary either as a study aid, preworkout supplement, or mood boost, but I decrease my usage after a few days of continues use to prevent addiction and withdrawals.
  • Nicotine - Sporadically. I use nicotine as a writing aid and, sparingly, as a preworkout supplement. Nicotine's stimulation tends to aid me in focusing on my writing for hours without breaks. I moderate this heavily to to prevent addiction and withdrawals.

The original reason I decided to try nicotine is the results of this study and, anecdotally, their findings, especially point three noted in the abstract, seem to be accurate. I have been using nicotine to reinforce positive behaviors, over the past few months, and it seems to be working.

Racetams (*Alpha-GPC, phenylpiracetam, aniracetam, and noopept) -

  • Alpha-GPC - PRN with a Race
  • phenylpiracetam - Twice, or thrice, a month as a study aid. I combine this with Alpha-GPC. I will likely discontinue with for a different stimulant. (or possibly combine)
  • aniracetam - Rarely for relaxation, but I am inexperienced with this. I combine this with Alpha-GPC and sometimes l-theanine.
  • Noopept - Unsure, I plan on experimenting with this later.

'Supplements' (Phenibut, Adrafinil, Kava Kava, and Kratom) -

  • Phenibut - Once, maybe twice, a week for sleep or more usually social occasions.
  • Adrafinil - Once a week for studying or its stimulant properties. Due negative symptoms, an aggravating eye twitch that lasts weeks after use and months after slight abuse and moderate lingering stomach discomfort after use,
  • Kava Kava - Nightly, in the form of a strong yogi tea, that brings on nothing noteworthy; to be honest, it is just a little relaxing.
  • Kratom - Sporadically. I used to use this three times a week, but I have down regulated just because of the hassle of preparing capsules and the poor quality of my last few purchases.

Traditional Depressants (Alcohol and Benzodiazepines) -

  • Alcohol - Rarely, I usually reserve this for social occasions for health reasons.
  • Benzodiazepines - Rarely, never to get high.

Hallicangenics (LSD, Mushrooms, DXM, DHP*, and Cannabis) -

  • LSD & Mushrooms - Rearly. After more than a few times a year, these seem to lose their magic.
  • DXM - Interested in trying it, but I haven't yet.
  • DPH - Sporadically. Normally, I use this as a sleep aid.
  • Cannabis - Plan on abstaining, for the most part, till either it is legalized in my state or I leave university.

I have been thinking of dropping the Phenibut and DPH in exchange for GBL as a sleep and social aid.

I plan on dropping phenylpiracetam and adrafinil in exchange for 2-FA, 4-Me-TMP, or something of the like that would fit the proper stimulant profile to be used once or twice a week.

So... I guess the answer for me is also all the time.
