How do you get over your hardest heartbreak?

Embrace everything - your feelings, your emotions, and your situation. Don't hold anything back. Don't muzzle anything. Allow yourself to hit rock bottom in the comfort of your own home or with some close friends. Go to your bed and cry into your pillow like a fucking baby. Let it all out.

Once you hit rock bottom, spend time with the best parts of your life - friends, family, and keep busy working out and pursuing your hobbies. Have your personal shit on lockdown in your career/job. Never bring anything into the workplace.

After you've embraced the situation and come to terms with what has happened, it all begins to get better. After you've hit rock bottom nothing feels as painful as it did before.

By the end, you might feel a bit down, but you can then look objectively at the situation and understand where your emotions are coming from.

And ultimately - try to use as few coping mechanisms as you can. No alcohol, drugs, and ESPECIALLY no new girls to replace the one you've just lost. In order to get through this you need nothing but your will and mind. You use anything else and you'll fuck yourself over in the long run.

Godspeed if you're currently in that situation.
