How do I overcome binging?

Sounds like you could do with some professional help, maybe somebody trained to talk about your bingeing with. If that is available to you then I strongly suggest you access it. I understand that’s not financially possible for everyone but if you can it may help.

Although, my only advice would be to begin to recognise when you are feeling like ‘I’m going to binge’ or you begin preparing a lot of food to consume. Try to recognise this feeling before you do it, try to remember how you felt last time you binged. I found changing my behaviour around food to be helpful to curb bingeing, ie- being around somebody when eating, eating at the table away from screens and focusing on the food itself and eating consciously (when I know I’m hungry and removing it when I am not).
