How To Overcome The Emptiness of Reaching Goals?

I think a big part of it is adapting to winning. I had a lot of struggle for many years, when wins started to come, I would be euphoric, then they kept coming and now they are simply expected.

Ah man, relate very hard to this.

I come from a professional gaming background, and through one game, to the next, to the current one (business), the "high" always starts to fade after a while.

It's funny how I'm making 10x as much as I did last year, but feel half as happy.

I don't have any advice other than I think you're on the right track. I'm also in the mindset of "just get through the next few years and be set for life". I'll focus on actually enjoying life after that's accomplished
