After breaking up with my ex after 9 years, I moved on pretty quickly, and to be honest I can't explain why. It started out as just trying to have sex with as many women as possible, but one of the girls I met really excited me, so I just decided to keep seeing her.

It still took a good year and a half before I felt like I had fully moved on, so even if it doesn't seem like she cares, I think deep down she still struggles.

My best guess; for me, when everything I knew came crashing down, I jumped head first into everything to keep myself distracted, and to not be so lonely, just so happens I met someone that ended up being really special to me, and even though I continued to struggle leaving my previous life behind, I started to find comfort in a new one.
