i used to feel bad for him because it’s very obvious that jeffree is using him. he’s using shane’s larger platform and enticing him with “tea” in order to get him to make this series and spread his narrative of how he’s the only true beauty influencer.

but now, fuck him. there’s smaller artists out there with talent who deserve recognition. his makeup his awful, he barely started regularly bathing in his fucking 30’s and now think he’s some beauty guru who knows about makeup. oh, and don’t get me started on the fact that he gets PR. like i said, smaller artists are out here with actual talent and do makeup because they’re passionate about it. unlike shane who sees it as a convenient way to garner views. white male mediocrity is a hell of a drug. the glass escalator for men in the makeup industry, no matter how much they suck, never fails to amaze me.
