How you people feel about their country depicted in GuP?

I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of the way America was potrayed.

Sure, my background is a mix of Russian and Canadian, but do you want me to ask my dad and 8 year old me what they think of Pravda and Maple (cricket cricket)?

Saunders' strategy is a solid 6/10. They wanted to isolate their tank (which seemed like a good idea), but that was thwarted by Ooarai when the duck team baited their flag tank into a trap and took them out (with slight difficulty).

But I'm not here to talk about strategy. In the anime, Saunders is potrayed as light-hearted, easy-going, jumpy and slightly gluttonous. It seems like their standards are a bit lower than all the other schools (In the episode, when they had that field full of snackbars and showers and other things to pamper themselves with) making it look as if they are higher maintainence... which I dunno...

And out of all the American tanks made in WWII they chose the largest arsenal of the shittiest tank in the entire world. Don't even bring up the circlejerk. Shermans were AWFUL. Come on, Saunders! You had so many other options to choose from! But of COURSE you chose the embarassment of the US Armed Forces, multiplied it, and added in a couple improved variants.

And of course they swear all the time, cuz hot diggity damn, we murricans are vulgar, ain't we? tips cowboy hat

(Alisa dropped multiple F bombs in episode 7, they damn everything, all the time, and Kay dropped a precision Sugar Honey Ice Tea strike in the movie).

Aside from Kay being very physically well-endowed and Alisa being hilarious, and Naomi being the cool one, I don't feel America was taken seriously in the movie.
