Criticizing a social media platform on the basis of indelibly social media characteristics is silly. If you want everyone to hold their pinky straight when they raise their teacup, there are plenty of places you can go where the casual manners will not offend you. But by all means, avoid social media.

Proving my point yet again.

Reddit is usually better than most social media. This isn’t Facebook. There are mods and rules that typically encourage informative discussion. That’s why it won’t let you hate-comment every two seconds. That’s why most users come here. But for some reason this sub reads like a Facebook page. You can criticize me personally and talk about pinky’s and tea cups but all I’m asking for is some respect and education. So sorry this sub is certainly not willing to accommodate
