Take average mmr by rank and we get:

1870 Crusader 4 vs 1870 Crusader 4

11,110 vs 14,410 total mmr

2222 vs 2882 average mmr

In order for this game to be balanced purely on numbers, one of the players would have to gain 3,300 mmr, or each player would have to gain 660 mmr on the radiant side. 660 mmr is the difference between 1 star and 7 stars in each rank.
