How has quarantine so far effected your day to day life?

Not much of change, really. I mean, there was the adjustment to staying home all the time, that took a little while.

You know, the interesting thing is how the apartment block works differently in the day. Like at night I would always hear some thuds or scratching sounds from the place settling. But I found out that you get the same noises during the day.

Well not exactly the same noises. Because the ones at night are innocent, just the building cooling off from the heat of the day and making creaking noises. During the day it's different. Scratching noises inside the cabinets, sometimes you can hear sounds from the rest of the apartment house.

I don't know how sounds work like that. It's kind of weird. Like how in the middle of the day I'll hear what sounds like a cocktail party in my bedroom, but when I go in there I don't hear anything at all. Someone in the apartment house must be having parties every day because I hear that a lot.

Also, the windows are kind of bad. Not enough to complain about, but I think the wind goes through the and moves things around when I'm not looking. Not everything, but light stuff like the photos of my parents before they died and this one giant stuffed animal I bought when the local orphanage was having a rummage sale. Sometimes it's really annoying to have to put it back all the time. Especially when it somehow ends up next to the couch and I wake up and it's sitting there, almost like it's staring at me.

But yeah, over all quarantine hasn't affected me much.
