Hey, I remember you posting about your program like a year ago. My husband tried to get in and was denied. It was the only time he was willing to get help because it was outside the VA and he won't do anything now. Why does your program deny the veterans when they do? I don't fully understand the admission process, I guess, or how it's determined whether veterans qualify or don't. If I recall correctly (and this is all going through my veteran because they wouldn't talk to me on the phone, only him, so I got his secondhand relay of whatever they told him, which is often inaccurate), it was because he is on medical cannabis for therapeutic purposes (back pain), which is legal in our state and he is monitored under a doctor. So they won't accept veterans who are on cannabis or was he incorrect?
