How do you remove dents/marks from mice

Sorry if I sounded like I was implying something, it wasn't clear at first.

so I just ripped it off thinking I could fix the problem without returning it

Just a tip, don't do this with products still on warranty. You might make it worse and lose your warranty.

I actually have a scroll problem on my G403 (its making too much noise when scrolling up) that seemed like a piece was not well placed and I could fix it myself, I sent a message to support with details of the problem and asking for instructions on how to fix it, only in case it wouldn't void the warranty.

Always talk to support first. As you tried to fix yourself and it broke more things it can happen that they can't know if what is actually broken is because the mouse had problems or was because you tried to fix yourself.

And again, sorry if I sounded like I was implying something.
