Thanks for the response! I am currently in Aerospace. I am desperately trying to break out of this industry in any possible way I can. The pay is low, the opportunities are limited, and I am currently dealing with a sexist boss. The job opportunity where they went with someone with the DCM background was an up and coming tech company. A lot of what I do is very interrelated to FP&A work, but this industry is very unique and I find myself just constantly proving that I know what the heck I am talking about to interviewers for positions in banks, tech, whatever. I have been a finalist more times than I can count when I hear, “We ended up going for someone with (insert sub field of investment banking here).”
