How’s it living In Herzogenaurach, Germany?

You’re thinking about this a bit backwards. If you try to just migrate your life to a different country you’re going to be frustrated with how things work. As an example, there’s no possibly justifiable use case for an FJ here. You won’t be able to find anywhere to park it and the streets in most cities are way too narrow to drive it comfortably.

Besides, shipping three cars is going to be expensive as hell, and the cost to insure all of them and whatnot would suck. Why do two people need three cars in a country with as good public transport as Germany? At most I think you’d need one.

Do you have any German language skills? I moved here without any but man is it fucking hard and you have to spend your first year dedicating most of your free time to learning it to be functional.

What are your goals in living in Germany? Just adventure? Something more?
