How secure is lastpass really?

One of the things that people do not mention, is the fact that when it comes to security (to protect the brand, LastPass), that the organization has kept its reputation for fixing and patching any security vulnerabilities with their product or services servicing said product.

Simply going by one person's opinion because the software isn't "Open Source" or it has been "hacked" in the past, is not a good accurate representation of an overall product and the quality of service on the back end.

Let's face it, LastPass support is absolute garbage and non existent, but to be fair - a password manager is so simple it rarely requires product support. Majority of the support is based on billing inquiries or people who do not know how to use the product, so they open tickets to get support for something that is not broken. Yes, there are one-off issues, but they do not represent the majority of happy LP customers.
