The rankings are not fair. There are ways to inflate score. By playing less friendlies for example. Even tho it was sort of fixed in 2018 there are still errors in it. Wales and Romania were gaming their scores as far back as 2018. During tournaments pot announcement byears they would play almost no friendlies at all. One of the issues that are there results in more difficult signings for say the EPL since their work permits are also partly based on FIFA Rankings. So maybe it will contribute to seeing more Asian players in the future. Even for somebody like say Taremi, he'd have some difficulty in signing for a EPL team, which results in a bigger gulf between the teams of certain regions as there is a ranking attributed to which region players come from, like s region handicap, similar to how goals have different value when calculating golden boot in Europe.
