How do we solve the ultimate problem?

The idea that once we are able to do anything and have almost unlimited power through immortality and other things is interesting and I think its very possible we could become bored, I like to think of it as playing a computer game with cheat codes, its fun for a little while but gets really boring quite quickly.

There is this metaphysical idea that once we die our consciousness sort of floats around in nothingness and from there we are aware of all things and know everything, but its only momentary because from that point we choose to implant our consciousness back into a physical being so that we can live that experience. Its similar to reincarnation but its we who choose what we want to do, sort of like we enter a kind of character creation screen and then choose to be whatever we want, be it an ant, or a bird, or a human, perhaps a human with a severe disability, a tree or a rock. The idea is we choose the experience to learn from it and gain knowledge, and that we the infinite individual consciousness floating around in the infinite multiverse are all like these little probes branching out into all these things that in turn transmit all that knowledge back to the central core of the universe or whatever it is.

Now I'm not sure if I explained that right, and I'm also not saying this is the truth of it all, I'm just using it to illustrate what might happen if we ever were to become these infallible immortal beings and are so bored with it all because there is nothing we cant do, if that is the case then its possible we might want to insert ourselves back into a simulated physical environment of perhaps this world or another world. In other words, once the game is over and you have won, you either play another game or you start again:)
