How to start weaning a cat off of treats?

In your first post I already didn't appreciate you ASSUMING that I'm some sort of knuckle dragger who once read a scare article and decided that I needed to become an antivaxxer/go paleo/never consume food items that begin with the letter "K" without any further thought or research or discussion with a professional.

I already told you that I have my own veterinarian with whom I discuss my cat's health, including his diet, and have no desire to be sold on Friskies. Yeah, I tossed in some personal opinion on how I feel about Friskies. I don't think that a cat needs corn as part of a species appropriate diet. I don't think that small amounts of corn are super harmful but I don't see any good reason to include that filler in his food. I am personally asthmatic and personally suffer allergies, uncommon ones too so really fuck you for making some argument about corn not being an allergen because it's not a common one (what the fuck?), and one more time I HAVE MY OWN VET AND DO NOT NEED AN INTERNET STRANGER TO ABUSE ME WHILE REPPING FRISKIES BRAND CAT FOOD LIKE IT NEEDS PROTECTION.

I removed corn and some other grains in order to control the exposure my cat has to various potential allergens because allergies exacerbate asthma. I have no need to eliminate chicken because I have no reason to suspect he has an allergy to chicken, and it's a meat, and he's an obligate carnivore. Should he suddenly begin to exhibit signs of allergy, I will happily scrutinize chicken and anything else that could be triggering it!

I don't have a veterinary degree but that doesn't mean I panic every time I read unfamiliar words, when I don't understand something I ask questions and I DIDN'T ASK YOU AND I EXPLICITLY TOLD YOU I'M NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR CRUSADE.

I AM NOT DROWNING. I DO NOT NEED YOU TO SAVE ME. MY ABILITY TO UTILIZE CRITICAL THOUGHT IS FINE. YOUR CONCERN HAS ALREADY BEEN REBUFFED.

Kindly leave me alone and have a lovely remainder of your day.
