How time-intensive is solo entrepreneurship?

think of it like this. (basic example)

Sure to begin with it may start of easy - you put a product up on ebay and it sells - it's exciting you pack it take it down the post office, and send - Took you 15 minutes to set up the listing - 10 min to pack - 30 minutes to drive to the post office.... 55 minutes.

Oh hey this is great - I love being an entrepreneur, I'm going to sell more stuff!!

So you start selling more, putting more products up online (hours), you make a webpage (MANY hours) - and you start selling more. So no you have a webpage to manage, the products on your store, customers and shipping - Hrmmm this is starting to take up alot of my time - and I'm still not making much. I need to go bigger.

So you start spending time on marketing, and setting up a facebook page and twitter page, and a tumblr page, and a reddit account, and whatever else takes your fancy. So now you are in charge of taking photo's, editing the photo's adding the webpage, constantly updating you social media streams, staying up to date with those products that bring in money, still dealing with customers - oh crap you forgot to go the the post office - people getting annoyed -

YOU are literally EVERY SINGLE PART of your business - Whatever that may be - Every single thing you do will take an amount of time - and at the end of the day you will feel defeated and like you accomplished nothing... because as you scale your business the amount of work scales with it - But you know the one thing that doesn't scale with your ambitions - TIME

That shit is your number one resource - If you are doing it right - You will be giving up a lot to be a real entrepreneur -

Are you ready for that?
