How true is this news? Do we even have that many Sikhs in Pakistan?

I have been focusing on forced conversion issue since 2012. The numbers don't lie. I have come across at least one forced conversion case almost every single day. I have come across cases of forced conversion from people I know. Many people in Pakistan try to diverge from issue by saying it's love marriage. It's true a few of cases are of love marriage, and mostly in those cases no one used 'forced conversion' to hype the issue. Today, Mian Mithu, who is main culprit behind the forced conversion of minor minority girls, forcefully converted a minor minority girl of age 13 to Islam and married her off to the abductor in front of extremist mullah crowd. I would encourage you to follow the cases and not just blindlly believe Pakistani right wing media which does not even care to talk about forced conversion. Even Dawn newspaper do not cover forced conversion. They made a forced conversion headline on their paper a few years ago when girl gave statement of being abducted and wanted to return home but court ruled in the favor of the abductor. According to Sindh Marriage Act, the marriage under the age of 18 is illegal, but no one including police dared to stop them or arrest Mian Mithu. If you search on the google, you will find many photos of Mian Mithu with political and influential people in the country, including Imran Khan and army personals. They do support his notorious activities.
PPP took issue in its hand several years ago and passed Anti-Forced Conversion bill in the Sindh Assembly but extremist Maulvi outfits specially from Karachi protested the historic bill and PPP under the pressure changed their decision. Recently, the motion Anti-Forced Conversion was presented in the National Assembly, but PTI, a right wing mullah supporter party, rejected the bill citing that forced conversion doesn't happen and minorities are protected. They also insisted that the bill is Anti-Islamic. It's clear that no right wing party, including PTI and PMLN, would every favor passing the Anti-Forced Conversion Bill because they do not want to upset their mullah supporters. It is crucial that the Anti-Forced Conversion bill be passed soon before it's too late.
Secondly, Pakistani people are very hypocrite. They would talk about Muslim minorities issues from all over the world, but would blindly reject any minority issue in the country.
