We're supposed to "get the educated to abandon political correctness" by humbling them before the can-do inventiveness and tenacity of the (white) poor, while at the same time subjecting them to a first-hand dose of the unfiltered antagonism of the (other) poor. You know, the ones who stay that way ( /s , by the way) because not only is the entire organizational system of the society they are trapped in, having been very little consulted on at any point, but also saddled with the constant murderous resentment of those among the systematically privileged who, even given that, remain to wallow and rage at the bottom of the barrel. Here, again another wonder of an argument for basic universal income. Let those whom it would only encourage over the brink be over it, and done. And whomever it would encourage upward and onward, welcome, one and all.
