Okay, so imagine a rating of sexually aroused acitivty in neurons, if you watch too much porn, the neurons become flooded with positively charged calcium ions caused by dopamine, causing hyper-depolarisation and long term potentiation, lets call call that "hitting the ceiling" like level 100. When the neurons become too charged, they can't fire. I Think?? Level 0 I'll call a normal, healthy person's libido, sex drive. but with serotonin, neurons lose too much calcium ions, causing the neurons to be negatively charged, becoming hypopolarised, and when the charge is too low, like more than -70 mv, weak sexual stimuli cant overcome the negative charge, so thats like level negative -100. So the solution would be to get a much stronger sexual stimuli, hardcore porn activates the coolidge effect, you trick your brain into thinking youre having sex with 1000's of hot babes, flooding your brain with dopamine, bringing your sex drive from negative -100 to level 0, a normal sex drive??
