Having a GameStop NFT will be so rare and special, especially if having one is needed to verify a true share (or to close out a short), that having one could end up being almost priceless. The NFT alone could become its own squeeze separate from the shares. There will be a limited number and only true shareholders will have them. In my mind, whoever holds the NFTs will also hold a lot of power over the entire financial system. NFT holders will maintain the infinity pool and have the ability to call the shots about what conditions must be met before Kenny and his friends get what they need to close, if they ever do. NFT holders could become the new market makers if having one is the only way to close a short.
