How would Anarchist deal with inheritance? Who should get it? The heirs? The state? The workers? Others?

I probably can't give you best explanation of communal property, it just seems intuitive to me. Hopefully someone else can do a better job... here goes.

Historically you can look to how people treated things like water, forests, fields, back in the day before they came to be owned privately. You didn't have the right to destroy them or use them in ways that hurt others. But you could use them to meet your individual needs. See the Charter of the Forest in medieval England. Commoners before the normal conquest used the Forest for a lot of things, it was an important part of capital as it then existed, supplying things from meat from hunting, to wild plant feed for pigs, rushes and wood for houses, etc. The Normans increasing privatized the Forest, excluding commoners from using the things they previously used, and needed to survive. (So this is an example of communal vs private property conflict in history.)
