Fire Bins, Filch, Snape, exorcize Peeves, probably get rid of one or two others... and McGonagall. Seriously, every time a kid goes to her with a problem, she dismisses their worries or tells them to keep their heads down and not make trouble around the pink toad who's TORTURING THEM. FIRE HER.

That said, I would still want to maintain that sense of wonder within the school somehow. You need to keep kids able to think and come up with their own solutions to problems, or later in life they're not going to be able to. Exploding cauldrons and adventures are a good way to give them something to do outside of classes as well.
