How Would You Feel If Your Son Chose This??

So wait... hold the fuck up. Apparently wanting a barbie is gay? For fucks sake, when I was 3/4 years old I went through a phase where I played with barbies along with my other toys... and you know what? I haven't had a dick in my mouth once in my life. Hell even the kid's sexuality aside who the fuck cares? This is just some parent posting his son's mug and his own online to get some internet praise and maybe halfway convince a few parents on the border. You know what will happen though if/when this becomes viral? Some little shit in his class will bully him on something that otherwise would have been a non-issue. Positive reinforcement for a toy or type of toy in either case (gendered or not) is just you projecting your bullshit onto others. You really want to be a positive influence on your kids? Be positive about learning/building/etc toys, I mean, that's essentially what my folks did. In particular Lego, tons and tons of Lego. You want to know why? Because they don't have an expiration date. Same with computer access, not some shitty tablet or kid's toy... an actual computer (desktop, laptop, or whatever). If you're hesitant about what they can do online... well don't hook that computer online until they're old enough to understand the responsibility that comes with it, in the mean time let them have at it. Also finally, encourage interests that can get them outside. One of my own growing up was paleontology, any of the sciences though or a sport work equally as well. Get them outside and immerse in the environment around them. An example of what my mom did was get me involved in a local gem and mineral society. They held bi-monthly meetings, did little activities like carving soap stone, identifying different kinds of rock and formations, etc... also a few times a year they'd go out and have digs. There was an old oil field that wasn't producing anymore, but due to the development of a lot of the area there were entire hills and washouts that made it possible to not only observe striations in the soil and rock formations, but actually get in there and dig out fossilized muscles, mollusks, and other fossilized matter. These were week long affairs. The fact that you have jackasses like in the OP video jerking himself off over how great and tolerant a parent he is for letting his son have a barbie... I mean if THAT is what being a good and involved parent is now a-days then lord knows what my mom (a single mom by the way) was. /endrant

TL;DR: Get more involved with your kids and introduce them into the natural world instead of jerking yourself off over letting your son buy a barbie.
