I seriously think this whole thing of "I just got out of a relationship, I want to take things slow" is the most manipulative excuse of them all. It's so manipulative, the person who says it actually believes it too. Listen, people leave their friends, marriage, family if they fall in love with someone else and you are telling me a person who broke up with someone a few months ago is scared to take things at a normal pace? If they still hold on to their exes and it shows they are not over them. I also think talking about past relationships without a good premise is toxic. Yes, we all have had a past but somethings you just gotta keep to yourself. You don't have to tell every single detail about your life to someone.
