How would you guys feel if the entire third semester in P5R ended up just being a dream sequence like a lot of theories have been saying?

Part 2

The idea is essentially "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." This has a lot of potential here. After succeeding in changinf society, the PTs get their 'well deserved rewards.' These could just be the tangibles we're seeing. It could extend into actual reality-bending (or st least rewriting) power (a la the base games ending insistence that things are going too damned perfectly for the PTs.) That doesn't mean they should keep those rewards.

What, for example, is the psychological cost to Shiho of being back in Tokyo with Ann? Who did Ryuji displace to be scouted and who suffered the consequences of whatever changed to make this possible? Who died, or what facet of reality broke, to bring Wakaba back to Futaba? How much worse is the cost when extended to also include Papa Niijima or Kunikazu Okumura, assuming Makoto and/or Haru both have that sort of wish? What was the cost of Yusuke getting the True Sayuri showcased and accepted as the genuine article? What waves were made when Morgana became human, and what did those waves upset or destroy? What was the cost of Joker's unknown wish being fulfilled? Dream worlds dodge all of that possible consequence because "oh just kidding none of it was real because dreams aren't real!"

If done this way, then before the characters have answers we're set up for the PTs to disagree on what to do about these changes, if anything at all. Afterwards it sets up the question of "who's responsible for this situation?" That can lead quite nicely into an antagonist that ties to Yaldabaoth as a companion or counterpart entity, a la Nyx and Erebus or Philemon and Nyarlathotep respectively.
