How would the ME universe fare against the Flood?

Well if it's his space-magic power to just corrupt AI's okay, the Geth won't work.

That's kind of an unfair jab lol. After all, half of what the Reapers do is poorly explained space-magic too.

Again, if it's space-magic, alright then. If it's a change to their basic programming, then again it would still have to affect them all simultaneously (or individually post-ME-3). Geth share information, but do not necessarily share opinion, as evidenced by the existence of two factions.

Well gestalt AI isn't explored in the Halo universe, so we don't really know whether a Gravemind would have to corrupt every single individual program. After all, I doubt Mendicant Bias was one unified program in itself; even when separated in pieces, it still retained sentience and goal orientation.

As mentioned by Legion during his loyalty mission, there are ways around archival reconstruction depending on the alterations to core programs. Archival reconstruction is foolproof against hacking attempts, but the Heretic virus lightly danced around the issue. Can a Gravemind simulate such a change? Maybe. It's not like there's a feasible way of comparing the two with so little description.

We don't really know. The consequences aren't well established in the Mass Effect universe, and entirely foreign to the HALO universe.

We know that the Flood can utilize any biomass for its own purposes. While they can only convert hosts with nervous systems into Combat Forms, they can convert any biological mass for Pure and Advanced Forms. It's sensible to assume that anything that retains a biological form can be broken down into more 'building material'.

There are an estimated 20,000 Reaper capital ships and an ungodly number of destroyers. The Reapers are almost certain to have more collective computing power, unless it's the square of all flood mass in existence in a set radius.

Depends on the OP's parameters. If the Flood capture as many as 4 planets with sustainable biospheres, their computing power could challenge the entire Reaper fleet. And "sustainable" is considerably generous when it comes to that species.

Although I still feel that reaperization would offer a viable means of resistance. Subjects are likely not truly living, nor do they appear to be fully sentient, or even partially sentient in some cases.

In most cases, they would still be useful as pulp.
