How would the “means of production” be created in a Socialist society?

The government will decide what that means.

Socialists are hypocrites and all forms of socialism are an extension of the performance arts - specifically artistic whining. All the bullshit arbitrary, imaginary boundaries that socialists talk about are only valid when complaining about capitalism from the comfort of a capitalist country. What means of production is, what person/private property, what labor value is, etc, etc, are all armchair discussions for the socialist when living under capitalism.

Under socialism, means of production would be what the State says it is. What is ethical will be determined by the State. The punishment for arbitrarily perceived lack of ethics will be instantaneously determined by the State. Labor value will be what the State defines it to be. Every last high and mighty sanctimonious definition goes out of the window when a socialist State comes into existence. The socialist State is immune from criticism. Everything it does is perfect, all shortcomings will be ignored. All the complaining about workers and wages is simply to bring the non-socialist country to an end. The socialist State is always going to be more exploitative, more brutal, and more poverty-causing than any capitalist mode and it will be illegal to even observe this, let alone criticize it. But there will be more and more creative poetry, art, music, movies, etc about how capitalism is bad.

Like I have always said, socialism is an extension of the theatrical arts.
