I’d leave him how he is until Dean comes back. I’d have Dean turn heel and go after Rollins upon his return. They’d feud and cause a ton of problems for Kurt Angle (destroying backstage equipment, interrupting interviews, etc). Roman is torn in the middle and tries to get Kurt to lay off of them. Kurt decides to give Seth and Dean a blow-off match, and he makes Roman Special Guest Referee. Roman turns heel in that match by screwing over Seth as revenge for betraying the SHIELD all those years ago. Heel Roman and Dean then feud for a while with Seth (could even team Seth up with Finn or something). I think that would get Roman over.
