How would you rank the Gorillaz albums/phases?

  1. Demon Days - Love it overall. It has more of a rockish vibe to it, which I personally like more. It's more cohesive. And this phase has my favorite art style.

  2. Plastic Beach - I love the theme and how every song seems to be in that world. It has some great songs, though I really don't like and will skip Superfast Jellyfish. I love all of the orchestral music here. Gorillaz in 3D is my least favorite art style, though when drawn in 2D it was still good.

  3. Humanz - Some pretty catchy songs and I really like Saturnz Barz. But it doesn't seem very cohesive and it doesn't "feel" like it it's own world like the others do, of course that might change with more music videos. But I guess that's the point, it's the real world. Some songs I really don't like, and many feel like they could be better or seem unfinished. Like Momentz. I'm liking the art style, lineless is very different from the others but it surprisingly works quite well.

  4. Gorillaz - I used to really like the self titled album as a kid, but I just don't anymore. None of it's bad like I won't let it play in the background, but I won't actively want to play any of the songs. There's a few I quite like, like Slow Country. And the original Clint Eastwood by Phi Life Cypher is probably my favorite rap song. But overall it's just kind of eh sounding. Of course a lot of memorable and fleshed out things involving the art and their world. Though I'm not much of a fan of the huge lines and simple shapes.
