Ok so let’s say you’re just chatting and you realize you’re both big nerds about a niche emerging technology. Your date mentions a related project she’s been working on for the past year. She’s excited because it’s been getting amazing feedback and quickly gaining traction, and she’s getting ready to start fundraising. She’s not asking you for capital or even hinting at the possibility - just stoked to talk to someone who “gets it”

If you were impressed enough, would you discuss the project in further detail or perhaps introduce her to someone who could help? Or would you likely automatically decline to get involved because she came from SA?
