Was having lunch with another. He and I had been talking about dating women off and on again for years and he mentioned that he was seeing someone. I asked to see some pictures of the lucky lady. He sort of cocked his head, realized he hadn’t told me that he was out yet (I was living in a different province) and told me he was gay. I said, “Okay… pictures of the lucky man please!” A few years later he mentioned how much he appreciated that reaction.
