He doesn’t have the Omni-droid, it literally says that in the prompt, which you would know if you didn’t have tunnel vision. And Homelander is definitely a lot smarter than you give him credit for, not Tony Stark, but is definitely smarter than most people. If anything, I’d say Syndrome is definitely a lot more careless than Homelander, him throwing the oil tanker behind himself and letting it explode with little regard for human life being an example. It would also be incredibly hard to sneak up on Homelander because of his super hearing, or X-ray vision.

But no, even Homelander cared when Translucent went missing, sure he made it more about it being an attack on him, but he still took it seriously, and didn’t completely shit on Translucent except for jokingly saying he preferred him blown to bits to Maeve. He also acknowledged the intelligence of Translucent’s killers, instead of writing them off as harmless, showing how he does take things seriously when supes start dying. Want more proof? He was distraught when A-Train killed BlueHawk, a barely c-tier supe, and yet he still was angry that one of his supe kind died, and that A-Train was the one to do it.
