How has your addiction changed you?

You’re not a horrible and evil person for taking a drug (opiate) but it turns you into a person you thought you’d never become. You can say all day you are more compassionate because of it but it’s the totally opposite. No need to get personal here (if you don’t want others perspective on this then it’s simple. Don’t post)

The stigma that comes along with addiction isn’t right at all and it should be treated like a disease but what i am saying is it clouds your mind and makes you act in a way that a normal sober person wouldn’t. And yeah maybe they should cut prescription opiates completely because there’s more effective ways to combat pain.

Opiates overtime is ineffective with pain management due to tolerance build up over time. What’s good about a drug that literally ruins lives and makes you uneasy when you can’t get it? Plus there’s withdrawals and PAWS to deal with for almost a whole year. And also the Overdoses. Natural is better. There’s a reason why doctors don’t like prescribing it anymore (literally ruins lives)
