How do you get your greens? Do you eat them raw or cooked? Between oxalates in spinach and goitrogens in crucifers, I'm feeling paralyzed about eating too much of any of them. Are y'all getting 600mg of calcium from greens like Dr. Greger recommends? If so, share your methods/recipes.

Green Smoothies once a day. Handful of spinach and of kale. One rainbow chard leaf, 7 stalks of parsley, 1/2 each of an avocado, apple, beet, lemon and tomato. 2 tablespoons each of chia and flax seeds, 1/2 thumb ginger and a handful of blueberries. Instead of adding water, I juice a bunch of carrots and celery and 1/2 a beet.

Then I blend it. But not until smooth. I like it a little chunky so I have to chew bits. It’s like a fun little surprise cuz I don’t know what I’m chewing until a new flavor hits. If I do this daily it keeps my depression at bay. I don’t care why it works, it just does.

This recipe is mostly from Dr Rhonda Patrick “Found My Fitness” YouTube.
