How is your reading goal for 2016 coming along?

You know, I didn't set a definitive goal, I just wanted to greatly increase the amount of time I spend reading. An immediate consequence of that is that my amount of time playing video games has dwindled to almost nil, and I used to play a TON of video games.

What I'm doing now is alternating between graphic novels and more traditional literature. So recently I read As I Lay Dying, then this graphic series called Black Science, then A Farewell to Arms, then some Punisher stuff...then a book on the Africa campaign in WWII called An Army at Dawn...it's been really nice. I always felt on some level like I was wasting my time when I was playing video games, but I never feel like time spent reading is time ill spent. And by the way, I am NOT criticizing gaming as a poor usage of time for anyone else, it's just that for me, at age 36, I felt like it was time to start doing something else.

Sidenote: One of the books I've read recently was Ward #6 and Other Short Stories by Anton Chekov, and it was amazing. I would highly recommend it!
