Ok, bit of experience from someone who has maimed lists very similar to this several times (my friend is determined to make x-wings work).
R2-F2 on Biggs is good. It works well at keeping him alive longer and experimental interface will let him attack worth a damn too.
Wedge with VI, r2-d2 and advanced proton torps is a waste. Advanced proton torps gives you one shot at range one with 5 dice and three guaranteed focus dice, which is not much for 6 points when wedge shoots for 4 dice at range 1 anyway. On a y-wing? Great. Not needed on Wedge. R2-D2 makes your movements predictable as the x-wing only has four greens. VI is not very valuable on wedge as he is already ps9.
Garven is fine with wingman and his ability, but that essentially means you have two support ships and one purely offensive, so you might have trouble hitting hard across more than one target or larger ships.
Your big problem though, is going to be maneuverability. X-wings can't barrel roll, can't boost and none of your ships have movement related abilities. Using Biggs to cover and Garven to Wingman Biggs, you're going to need to stick together which will make you very easy targets to anything with any kind of speed to it.
My advice would be:
Take VI, R2 and torps off wedge. That frees up 11 points. Give him Engine upgrade and outmanoeuvre. A wedge who can arc dodge and reduce an enemy pilot's agility by TWO is deadly. BELIEVE ME. And still 4 points cheaper! You can use this to give Garven an engine upgrade as well if you want, because quite frankly x-wings without either expert handling or engine upgrade have a very easy to predict arc and are simple to fly rings around.
If you do want to give wedge a healing droid, I would recommend r5-p9 rather than r2-d2. A point cheaper and it doesn't restrict your movement. Yes you need a focus to use it, but, especially with Garven in tow, I think you'll find wedge has one spare more often than not, with engine upgrade helping even more with this.
As I said I have murdered variations on this list a lot, but I've lost a few times too, so it can be good, it's just very easy to predict.
