People started repeatedly spamming it in r/iamatotalpieceofshit one time after someone made a baseless claim that Reddit mods were being paid by lawyers to take the video down when what actually happened was Reddit removed the video after a copyright claim was submitted. Those are two very different things. The sub also has a strict rule about personal info due to being threatened with closure by the site admins and people were not only spamming the post but also failing to read the rules. People were just constantly sending modmail and DM death threats just so convinced they were the good guys. It was so absurd. It spread all over the site at the time so I’m assuming you were banned for a similar reason. Internet mob mentality is gross.
