Still, though, I do see plenty of people who get transferred, like you said, and it is far too often (especially in union states) a means of a methodical/planned-slow-career-homicide vs. forced exit that has been carefully orchestrated down to the job/position no longer being there/position having been filled or eliminated/consolidated (which means they simply renamed it, oftentimes) or they farmed the responsibilities out to other workers increasing their burden in the name of efficiency and salary justifications….
