HR threatening to take action against me for insubordination unless I dye my hair, as requested by my boss.

Thank you for your reply!

I actually tick a lot of those boxes, for starters anxiety. Last year I adopted a vegan diet and lost 25 kilos in 6 months. At the time I noticed my hair started thinning a lot and was losing considerable amounts of hair. Even my housemate made comments about the alarming amount of hair I was losing and how it was everywhere. I have a lot of (thick) hair. So even though I've lost a lot of it, it's not something I notice. But jesus christ the mouth of my vaccuum cleaner gets clogged every other week because of the amount of hair I shed lmao.

I've always had night sweats on and off. Sometimes they happen every single night for a few weeks then disappear for months. Others I sweat for a couple of nights and don't have them again for months. My night sweats are pretty intense, my pillow and duvet get literally soaking wet. It's not just a bit of sweat, is as if someone had emptied a bottle of water over me to the point I sleep with a mattress protector and when it happens I have to change the entire bedding including the duvet stuffing and my pillow. Went to the doctor about it because my boyfriend had sleep apnea and said that would happen to him too but the doctor told me, I quote, "there's nothing wrong with you, it's one of those things science can't explain".

When I called to get my appointment before, the woman at reception asked why I needed the appointment. I explained the situation, told her I've suddenly got a lot of white hair and wanted to be seen by the doctor, and she didn't have the most pleasant reaction, she was like "you're calling because you have grey hair...?" I tried to explain to her the circumstances but judging by her reaction you'd think I'm a princess here complaining oh no I got 3 grey hairs omg the ordeal.

Anyways, positive thoughts! I got a phone appointment in 3 weeks time (since my case is not urgent) and hopefully the doctor will agree to get some blood work or some tests done, whatever he sees fit. I already take Solgar multi-vitamins, this one, but I haven't noticed anything except my urine is yellow as a highlighter pen haha

As for silver hair, I think is gorgeous and I don't mind having it! Thank you again for your kind reply, I'll look into liquid vitamins right away!
