Has Huawei surpassed Samsung as premium phone maker after P30 Pro?

Potentially they can but as of now they are still below Samsung, Apple. I'd put LG ahead of Huawei and even Google if we are going to put hardware on the line in which likely to suffer problems and poor after sale service. Software Ui can be customize and Samsung still does it better in terms of updates. The only reason why Huawei can succeed is because they make their own chip Kirin just like Samsung ; cost of phone can be cheaper and Leica camera has so much potential. Huawei not being able to penetrate US market is already a huge loss. Speaking of chips, Snapdragon and Samsung 's Exynos are still ahead of Kirin thus they are not better, not to mention the security issues. If i am going to pay $1000+ for a phone, Huawei would be the last on my list.
