Huddersfield Town sign Mathias Jørgensen

Bloody keep going for it. Call me all the names you want. You can increase your karma and decrease mine if that's what it's all about for you. I don't get how every new person who remotely follows Town has to be a glory supporter now. Yes, a fair few people have bought season tickets in response to the team getting promoted, but isn't that better than having those season tickets go unsold? Why can't relatively new soccer fans just decide to start watching a team's matches. It's not like anything these new fans do is ever going to fully influence the club's actions. You do realise, with any success, the team is going to acquire more and more new fans. When you guys signed Hefele I'm sure some Dresden fans began to follow you guys. Just like when you guys signed Mooy, some guys started to follow you. Just like me. When you guys signed Kachunga some Congolese people might have started to follow you. And it's best to embrace these fans rather than shun them isn't it? And the fact is, Huddersfield Town is a great organisation, great club with (mostly) great fans and a great chairman. Regardless, if you guys want to survive in the future, you need some bandwagoners to fork out their money to keep the club going. There aren't enough newborn soccer fans in Leeds to sustain Town's financial stability in the future. I don't care if you once did karate, that doesn't give you the right to force new supporters away from a club. If this is the attitude of all Town supporters, then I wasn't aware and I apologise for "pretending" to be a fan. I'm Australian and judging by the amount of downvotes I've received, I'm clearly uneducated about English culture and traditions. But you do realise all of those long Town fans who've braved the worst along with you started somewhere right? Some of them might have once been raised in Barnsley or Leeds supporting families. Anyway, regardless, enjoy your life mate. I do hope for all Town's supporters' sake that the team stays up seeing as it's frowned upon to support two teams, and regardless I'll be watching as many games as possible. And if the team gets relegated I'll still watch the matches. Ok, I won't label myself a fan if it really hurts all other Town fans who've stuck through here for all the tough times. I can understand that. In other sports I support some wildly unsuccessful clubs that make Town look like Real Madrid. So it's not like you're the only one who's ever experienced pain from their sports teams.
