Huge explosion in Paris - 20 people injured

I think this has a pretty simple explanation aside from it just seeming like a pet project. I really don't see any other topic draw so much vitriol, calls for extermination, sweeping statements of hate, idle suggestions of violence. If you were in that infamous Pulse thread that got purged, the percentage of comments taking it straight to that place was massive. "We must eradicate Islam" all the way down.

I'm not sure if it is actually effective to purge those sentiments or if the idea of removing inflammatory comments is evenly applied across all controversial topics. Just to me, it came off more like removing violent ideation than censoring a conversation about Islam.
